This is the first time we could engage an audience with THEIR work outside of creativeLIVE whilst simultaneously live critiquing. I created Photo Critique so you could have your say. Today’s post is the top 12 images from Round 1.
- The ability to add your website address when you upload your image or remain anonymous.
- You can enable comments or disable them and start a critique conversation.
- You can see the exact breakdown of each image and where it is scoring high and where it is falling down.
- We have started the critique at 0 to build UP in average instead of starting at mid range.
- When you log in and create an account, you get 5 free uploads. You can pay $3 for more uploads or earn more free uploads simply by critiquing others.
- We have enabled a One-on-One Pro critique option if you want to pay for more comprehensive feedback.
- Every week I will feature the top critiques of the week.
The most exciting news is we have opened the Wedding page today. So start uploading your wedding images for critique. I look forward to opening the other 10 tabs in the next 2 months including Boudoir / Newborn & Babies / Family Portraits / Lighting / Photoshop and more. I am working on the next critique show on creativeLIVE, as the feedback I received from the first one was just fabulous, and I loved every minute of it. I thank every one of you for submitting images for critique and further education. Many of you uploaded not only your best images, but images you needed improvement on. This is about seeing all of your progress and helping you take your images to the next level.I am so incredibly proud that this genre is taking off and you are embracing it in your businesses bringing a beautiful experience to the Women of the World. Thank you for working through 28 days and please forge ahead to create beautiful folios to attract lots of work in your studios. If these images belong to you and you would like your web address featured here on this blog please email the image and your web address and I will update this post. As of now the ability to choose to have your website featured is on the Upload page. Regards Sue Bryce
Overall Score: 4.30, Total Critiques: 232 I love this image for many reasons. I adore photographing older Women and I love how this image has been critiqued and excepted by so many. Everything about it is beautiful to me.
Overall Score: 4.14, Total Critiques: 229 Great connection and execution a reminder that we don’t always need a studio space. Excellent use of front shoulder and exceptional styling.
Overall Score: 4.07, Total Critiques: 108 Beautiful connection in this image. My only criticism is the repeat clone curl in the hair on the left side and a little heavy on the retouching but overall such a beautiful shot. Great chin shoulder connection and makeup.
Overall Score: 4.00, Total Critiques: 96 A beautifully shot image into the back light if the body was more 45 degrees away from the camera there would be less distraction to look down to the leg. I would have retouch that little bit of hair rom the fringe/bangs. But overall beautifully done and great connection.
Overall Score: 3.92, Total Critiques: 123 Great hands/ styling and connection. I would like to see a little more contrast and retouching under the eyes. But I come from the old school of B&W so I do lean towards gutsy B&W images.
Overall Score: 3.73, Total Critiques: 102 Beautiful angle and No 5 composition. I love the Asymmetry and connection. The bra is a little distracting and could be easily fixed. A perfect example of Asymmetrical composition.
Overall Score: 3.70, Total Critiques: 115 I love this image it really has such a great mood and feel. I would love to see more images around this shot from the shoot I was instantly connected to this shot on critique day good work..
Overall Score: 3.68, Total Critiques: 59 A classic example of all my rules applied on a simple jeans and top. Nicely done. 10/10 for hands and hour glass. Remove that hair on her chest/top.
Overall Score: 3.65, Total Critiques: 414 Such a simple and beautiful image. The choice of finished tone is definitely the only debate. But if the client loved it then it works. The little highlights on the teeth could be retouched quickly overall beautiful connection and mood.
Overall Score: 3.63, Total Critiques: 141 A simple and beautiful image. I would love to see a little more refining of photoshop on the face particularly the forehead. Well done.
Overall Score: 3.62, Total Critiques: 130 I love this image, great mood sexy and well connected. Just that front leg pulled over and forward a touch I am drawn down to the crotch but the face and styling is strong enough to keep your eyes up.
Overall Score: 3.58, Total Critiques: 104 Beautiful / soft / sweet and very easy to look at. Little tip to retouch those armpit lines and watch your highlights the front of her dress is very high key and you lose the shape of her body.
